Pfizer Health Solutions has many years of experience of working
on service redesign in partnership with the NHS. The work has
included primary care, secondary care, community services and
networks. For example, the OwnHealth project in
Birmingham introduced a substantial change in pathways across
primary and community services. The project delivered substantial
gains in clinical metrics for the patients, high levels of
satisfaction, improved quality and the opportunity to reduce
costs.
Our Project Managers apply a focused approach to service redesign
delivery, enabling resource redirection and optimisation within the
care pathway. We recognise the many pressures facing NHS colleagues
and we are able to recommend sustainable changes to care pathways
and service redesign, thereby avoiding short term reactive
measures.
