Meet the team
The members of the Pfizer Health Solutions team have a range of experience and expertise. They have worked in clinical practice, primary care trusts, project management and evaluation and analytics. Their skills are complementary and importantly, combine together into a fully integrated expert consultancy.
John Procter Head of UK PHS John began his career as an NHS Graduate Management Trainee and worked for the NHS in Wales and England for 8 years. He joined Pfizer in 1999 and worked as part of the Healthcare Consultant Team, designing and implementing programmes with PCTs in Kent and East Sussex John moved to a national role in marketing before beginning his secondment with Team Health and his education in the management of long term conditions in 2004. John is an experienced project manager and has been working for and with NHS organisations for over 15 years. Jo Wales Head of Business Development Jo has a management career spanning over 15 years in the healthcare sector, holding various business development, marketing and account management roles. She has an in depth understanding of the challenges faced by commissioners in the NHS and has developed a number of innovative self-care and wellbeing programmes that are being implemented across the UK. Jo is a graduate in Biomedical Sciences and holds an MBA from Manchester University. Adrian Reedman Project Manager Adrian has over 15 years’ experience of working alongside primary care organisations in account management and sales roles. Adrian has worked in close partnership with NHS Birmingham East & North on the development and implementation of the Birmingham OwnHealth service. In 2009 Adrian joined the primary care trust on secondment as the Director of Strategy and Redesign, so now brings a practical understanding of Commissioning to Pfizer Health Solutions. Adrian is currently responsible for bringing a number of demonstration services towards market readiness across Europe, including work in self care and oncology. Ingrid Martin Project Manager – Nottingham City OwnHealth Ingrid has an established background in Biological Sciences and Education - skills and interests that lead naturally to working on clinical trials within the pharmaceutical industry. After 7 successful years, Ingrid moved into disease management. Ingrid has spent the last 5 years helping to deliver self-management programmes both in Italy and more extensively within UK in support of people with long term conditions. Geoff Rollason Programme Director – West Midlands Geoff worked in primary care and community health settings with several NHS organisations over an extensive period, and has also worked directly in developing health systems in the third world. Since joining PHS Geoff has worked on successfully developing the OwnHealth and BENeFIT projects, and has a mandate in broadening the development, delivery and implementation of the programmes across the UK. Helena Jordan Business Development Manager Helena has a nursing background and specialises in self care and self management. She has worked across different directorates in the Department of Health (DH) providing support for the implementation of the self care agenda. Helena works with a number of national charities and organisations providing advice on implementing self care strategies and driving quality in the delivery of self management interventions. Helena has had various national roles driving and influencing the self care agenda she also works with various organisations to support them in setting up strategies that support self care. She has also been involved in setting up Self Care Connect, which brings together the wide-ranging activities of self care. Helena has experience of project management in both the public and commercial sector. Anjali Baddepuram Data Analyst Anjali is a Data Manager with 6 years of experience in Data Analysis, Data capturing, Data mining and Data handling. She has worked with several NHS organisations in West Midlands, Volkswagen UK and also Alstom UK. As a Data Manager for PHS, she has streamlined the report requisitions related to NHS PCT & Health Intelligence and has been largely involved in OwnHealth software system changes & implementation. Rob Bailey IT Lead Rob is an IT expert with over 18 years experience supporting a multitude of IT systems. He has worked in many industries including Defence, Construction, Banking and for the last 3 years Pharmaceutical and Healthcare . As IT Lead for PHS he provides support and training for the OwnHealth® software systems. |
